The clinician behind The Physiology Lab.
Almost a decade of clinical experience, a clear mission and a program built on the science of what actually happens in the body under pressure.
From the clinic to the classroom.
Kim is a registered Osteopath with almost a decade of clinical experience across multidisciplinary practices in Melbourne. Over the course of her career she has treated patients of all ages, watching first-hand what chronic stress does to the body over time.

The tension that never fully releases, the sleep that never quite restores, the physical toll of sustained pressure that accumulates slowly and quietly until it becomes something harder to treat.

What Kim noticed wasn't just the physical symptoms, it was the pattern. People would come in, work through the physical consequences of their stress, and leave feeling better and then they'd go straight back into the same pressure without any tools to manage what it was doing to their body differently.

That observation drove a question that eventually became The Physiology Lab: what if young people, right in the middle of some of the most demanding years of their lives, could be taught the physical side of what's happening before the damage is done?

That's the work Kim does now. Alongside her clinical practice, she delivers in-person workshops in schools, sporting clubs, and workplaces across Melbourne, teaching the physiology of the stress response and giving people the physical tools to work with it.

Grounded in clinical expertise.

OXYGEN ADVANTAGE CERTIFIED PRACTITIONER
Certified in the Oxygen Advantage methodology, a globally recognised breathwork program developed by Patrick McKeown. Used by elite athletes and high-performance organisations worldwide.

The methodology behind the program.

The Oxygen Advantage is a breathwork methodology developed by Patrick McKeown, one of the world's leading experts in breathing science and the author of several internationally recognised books on the subject.

The methodology is grounded in the science of how breathing patterns affect the body's physiological state, including the stress response, athletic performance, sleep quality, and nervous system regulation. It is used by elite athletes, military personnel, and high-performance organisations globally.

Kim is a certified Advanced Oxygen Advantage practitioner. The principles and techniques of the Oxygen Advantage methodology form the evidence-based foundation of everything she teaches in her workshops, giving students, athletes, and staff access to the same tools used by some of the highest-performing people in the world.

Why the physical side matters.
Stress is one of the most widely discussed topics in health and wellbeing. There is no shortage of programs, apps, books, and frameworks designed to help people manage it.

Most of them focus on the mind; how to think about stress differently, how to build resilience, how to reframe pressure as opportunity and that work has genuine value.

What is far less commonly taught is the physical side. What actually happens in the body when the stress response activates. How the heart rate, breathing, and nervous system respond to pressure and how those responses can be physically trained to work differently.

That gap is what The Physiology Lab exists to fill. Not as a replacement for the psychological and emotional work, but as the additional physical layer that makes everything else more effective.
